Product Introduction

Transfer dies are commonly utilized in the mass production of round, deeply drawn, and medium to large-sized components. We specialize in crafting high-quality transfer dies for the automotive, appliance, office furniture, and aerospace industries. Our transfer dies are frequently considered the optimal choice, particularly for the production of large components. For shorter production runs, this is one of the most cost-effective methods. These dies do not require a lifter or sheet guides because these are carried out with independent dies. The single or multiple dies used in this process is beneficial because it has a lower tooling cost. We possess the expertise and technology to design, test and manufacture transfer tools to provide cost-effective, reliable solutions for a wide range of manufacturing challenges.

Advantage

1. The pressing process is divided into individual phases, each of which is executed with independent dies using a transfer die. This simplicity in design eliminates the need for a sheet guide, lifter, or any of the other components required for a progressive die.

2. The more complex the die, the higher the cost, and the more production will be required to amortize its cost over time. Therefore, the possibility of manufacturing a progressive die can be evaluated to produce large quantities of products, while a transfer die is more cost-effective for smaller batches.

3. With a transfer die, each work phase is separated from the others, and mechanical arms are used to move the material. During these movements, the base material can be removed from the pressed parts starting with the first stroke of the press, rather than having to wait for the final shearing operation as in the progressive dies.

4. Transfer die stamping tends to be more economical than progressive die stamping. It is also much more versatile. If your part has features such as cut-outs, pierced holes, ribs, knurls or threading, you can use transfer die stamping to machine this features in regular press operations so that you don’t need a secondary operation at an addition cost.

5. When you have large parts that need to be transferred between multiple presses to complete them, you will use transfer die stamping, such as housings, piping applications, frames, and structural components. Transfer die stamping can be found in all industries where progressive die stamping is located. It all depends on the specific type of part you want to stamp and your requirements for that part.
